My years here I have had two principals. I know some became principals to make the school a better place or to just help the school overall look towards the board of education. But I think that as a student I can give you some pointers to help you be a better principal then all the other.i know that being in your shoes can bring many responsibililty that will be hard to do some times. But if you follow what im about to tell you, you will do just fine.
To begin you have to get on the good side of all the students and the teachers. Doing so you can have a good repuation, and have respect. To do this you can do may things like make more pep rallys, and more events . but if you do don’t seem too anxious or soft, if they do them to bad for you. If you do these then the first impresion will be very merable.
Next you need to make sure that you go aruond the school and make sure that the school is runing correctly. Make sure that the reacher are teaching and the students are learing. Doing this will show that you have interest in the what goes down iin the school. Next you should always make sure that the rules sucha s tardies, and rude behavior are delt with as neccesary. Doing this will show that you like to have funa but you have a seriuos side.
With these you will be very succesful at your job . maybe be the best ever, but lets see how it goes the first few months. Remember that this job can be fun if you do the right things that need to be done. Have fun and enjoy your stay at cedar shoals. How to see you in the paper like the first principal, but doing something good.

ReplyDeleteI have to say that there were a few typos and a couple words that didn't make much sense in this post. Aside from that, I like how you got into specifics and described EXACTLY what the principal actions should be to be successful at Cedar.
Jose really i couldn't have said it any better myself man the principle and any other adult in the school should always be involved and letting the students that he/she is there for them, because then the students will be more comfortable and the school year will probaly move more smoothly.
ReplyDeleteI agree that getting respect is by communicating and putting activities for the students will make them know your their for them and they can respect you and i would also follow that. I found a couple of typos but other than that its well said.

ReplyDeletei guess having a pep-rally could be good and having a serious principal is bad but having a little bit of both is good. this advice is really good for a principal because it gives the freshmen a good high school experience.
